Trains, Planes, Ferries and Automobiles 2007

2007 is turning out to be a very exciting year. We just returned from a successful performance at the 2007 Montreal International Jazz Festival for thousands of people... and now it's official! The Jodi Proznick Quartet is heading off on a fall Canadian tour with generous support from the Canada Council for the Arts. We will be playing in Saskatoon, Whitehorse, Vancouver, Edmonton, Montreal, Toronto, Brandon, Winnipeg, Regina and Medicine Hat among other dates. Look out for us coming your way! Later in November, Tilden and I will be guest artists for the 2007 Keyano College Jazz Festival. Great fun!

I will be involved in a number of CD releases this fall. Jane Fair, Ian McDougall and Christie Grace are all releasing beautiful new recordings. Keep your ear out for all of them!

I am involved in a couple of live recordings in the near future. One will be with the great Oliver Gannon on guitar, sax player George Robert, and Jesse Cahill on drums. Another is with the Joel Haynes Trio - Tilden Webb on piano, Joel Haynes on drums and guest artist Seamus Blake on tenor sax.
