Laila Biali is a naturally bubbly entertainer. Today more so than ever as she discusses her latest tribute project – Joni Mitchell & the Canadian Songbook Reinvented. The multi-award-winning jazz vocalist, pianist, songwriter and CBC national radio host is pumped to return to the Inlet Theatre on Saturday, March 21, 2026. She has written fresh arrangements of cover songs by Leonard Cohen, k.d. lang, Sarah McLachlan, Bruce Coburn and Neil Young to name a few. But the beating heart of the show is music from Joni Mitchell, a nine-time Grammy Award recipient. Speaking of Grammy’s (2026) – Laila Biali is nominated for the first time for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for her holiday album Wintersongs, sharing the category alongside Lady Gaga, Barbra Streisand, Elton John and Laufey.

The 68th GRAMMY Awards will take place on Sunday, February 1, 2026 live at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
