Multi-award-winning bassist, composer and educator Jodi Proznick has received many awards including the 2019 Western Canadian Music Award for Jazz Artist of the Year, National Jazz Award for Bassist, Album and Acoustic Group of the Year, and two JUNO nominations for her CDs Foundations and Sun Songs.


Her chord-less quartet for the evening features fellow members of the newly established Sister Jazz Orchestra (www.sisterjazzorchestra.com), Ingrid Stitt on alto saxophone and Heather Anderson on trumpet as well as stellar NYC/Calgary based drummer Sanah Kadoura from The Ostara Project.


They will be performing music from her two Juno nominated albums as well as repertoire from jazz composers such as Joe Henderson, Sonny Rollins, Horace Silver, Gerry Mulligan/Chet Baker and Duke Ellington.
