Julian Borkowski Quintet
Event Details
Julian Borkowski is an emerging young trumpet player with an exuberant sound, swinging sensibilities and a mature compositional voice. Playing a mix of original music, standards, and some lesser-known hard bop gems, this is set to be Julian’s last gig as a leader in Vancouver before he leaves town for the foreseeable future.
This incredible quintet will also feature Cory Weeds – saxophone, Jodi Proznick – bass, Noah Franche-Nolan – piano and Todd Stewart – drums.
